SIS is an independent body approved by the Secretary of State for Education to carry out school inspections under Section 162A of the Education Act 2002. Its activities are monitored by Ofsted, which reports back to the DfE on an annual basis about the quality of its work. Summary of Main Findings
“King’s School and Nursery provides pupils with a high quality of education. It is successful at meeting its core aims; pupils say that they enjoy being at the school and their parents express their strong support of this view. The quality of education provided throughout the school is outstanding and reflects the school’s Christian ethos. The range and quality of the curriculum are exceptional. Teaching is of excellent quality overall and is never less than good. As a result, most pupils, of all ages and abilities, make outstanding progress as they move through the school. “
Our latest Ofsted inspection for Nursey was on 12th March 2009 with Heather Morgan. Her overall judgement was good, which means every aspect of provision is strong.
