Residentials

Each year pupils from years 4, 5 and 6 will attend one of two 5 day residential trips. 

The first is at Heatree, an activity centre on Dartmoor.  Pupils take part in educational and adventurous activities including artwork, map reading, a study of the Bronze Age and industrial history of the moors, team building activities and some exciting surprises.  This fits in with the schemes of work for pupils but it is great fun too.

The second trip is to Skern Lodge in Appledore.  Pupils take part in outdoor adventure activities, including High Ropes, climbing, abseiling, kayaking, rafting, surfing, orienteering and teamwork activities. The trip provides different challenges for different age groups and time away together.  This trip is great fun and aims to increase confidence and team working skills.
