The School Council is an elected committee of junior school pupils (with the assistance of Miss Thompson and Miss Farnsworth). They work together for the benefit of the school and arrange fundraising events in support of both local and international charities. Last year the School Council organised a bring and buy sale at the Summer Fayre and raised £167 for 'Flush away Poverty'. This is a chartity that helps the most deprived areas in the world, where sanitation creates a risk to health. The Friends of King's also agreed to donate which meant that over £300 was raised.
