Harvest Celebration

Posted on 04 November 2011

The King's annual Infant Harvest Celebration was held in the new school hall for the first time and was a wonderful way to bring everyone together to christen this space.  The children presented the story of ‘The Little Black Cloud’ and the guest speaker told the story of the ‘Sower and the Seeds’.  The afternoon was rounded off with refreshments, baked by the children.

A large donation of food was sent to the Lord’s Larder, run by Mutley Baptist Church and this will be distributed to homeless people.

Congratulations to The Infant Department for raising over £140 for ‘Seeds for Africa’, a project that enables the planting of Fruit Trees in Africa.
