Toilet Twinning - Flush Away Poverty
Posted on 12 June 20122.6 billion people do not have somewhere safe and hygienic to go to the loo, by King’s supporting Toilet Twinning we are helping to change this shocking statistic.
The School Council ran a bring and buy sale at the summer fair. You have helped us to raise £167.64, after a kind donation from the Friends of King’s we increased our total to £308.64. This enabled us to buy 5 toilets for people in Africa. All the toilets are situated in Mukolwe Village, South Kivu, Democratic Republic of Congo, Africa. Once again thank you all for your generosity to this worthy cause.
