Sport of King's

At King’s School we believe in the importance of a healthy lifestyle and encourage pupils to be fit and active.  Sporting activities provide the ideal opportunity to improve personal fitness, encourage teamwork, build self-confidence and develop a sense of 'fair play'.  We aim to unlock their sporting potential and perhaps find a talent that becomes their passion.  Pupils take part in a very wide range of sporting activities from the list below, according to their year group.

Adventure training

  • This is for older pupils and takes place at Skern Lodge (see 'Residentials' page).  The activities include High Ropes, climbing, abseiling, kayaking, rafting, surfing, orienteering and teamwork activities.
