King’s School and Nursery in Plymouth is a co-educational independent school for children aged 8 months up to 11 years old. We provide a complete education in a warm and nurturing environment.
Our strong sense of family and community, where each child is guided and encouraged to aim high and do their best both academically and personally, is something we are very proud of. Good manners and thoughtfulness for others are core values and children learn to take responsibility whilst gaining in self-confidence, self-discipline and maturity.
Inspection Report 2024
In our March 2024 ISI Inspection King’s School and Nursery met every Standard and achieved an Outstanding in all areas for our Nursery.
The five areas assessed were:

How proud we were of our 5- a-side football team yesterday when we battled to a 4th place in the ISA competition held at St. Joseph’s independent school. A long tough day with back to back matches, quick tactical changes, victories and defeats. Lunch on the go, awards and the fun filled mini bus ride home. Our KS1 pupils turned into food critics and curious chefs today as they quizzed our Head Chef all about food, kitchen life… and of course, pudding! 🍰👩🍳
